It’s probably fair to say that most Osteopaths rely on word-of-mouth to grow their patient list. However, I believe there’s far more to word-of-mouth.

I like to think that there are two forms of word-of-mouth, I call them active WOM and passive WOM.

Active word-of-mouth is you saying to a patient: “If you can think of anyone who you may think would benefit from our services, please give them my card and tell them to call me.”

Passive word-of-mouth is how a patient EXPERIENCES you, Osteopathy and your clinic. This is where you can go from a good Osteopath to a kick-ass Osteopath!
