Step 1 - Set Up A Facebook Business Account.
You will need a Facebook business account in order the make your Instagram account into a business one.
- Go to business.facebook.com/create and select Create Account.
- Enter your name and confirm your identity with Facebook login credentials.
- Follow the prompts to create your business account.
Step 2 - Download The Instagram App.
If you haven’t done so already, you can download the Instagram app on your smartphone via the Apple app store or Google play store. Then, create your account and sign in.
Step 3 – Open the app and tap on your profile in the bottom right corner.
Step 4 – Tap on the three stripes in the top left corner to reveal some options. Tap Settings.
Step 5 – Then choose “Switch To Business Profile.” Easy, right?
Step 6 - Choose Your Facebook Page.
If it doesn’t show up, it’s because you must be an admin to do so, which you automatically are if you set up the account. Then set the page to “Public.”
Step 7 - Provide A Few Details.
Fill out the email, address, and contact details if you haven’t done so already.
